Ignorant post perhaps, but the show on the discovery channel went into great detail about the nerve gas.

Hypothetical situation- Terrorist injects himself with massive amounts of DMSO. He boards an aircraft. He somehow manages to breathe pure oxygen for a few minutes (now where on an airliner can a person find an oxygen mask?). He takes out a syringe, or maybe just cuts himself. Lethal doses of DMSO4 are released in a confined area- airliner cabin.

I bet this will really happen now.

DMSO is also used to treat people. I speak from personal experience. It has a very, very peculiar 'smell'.

davidpt40 sound reasoning on your part but what you've just mentioned is basically impossible.

For certain purposes, DMSO is truly amazing. I have used it no small # of times. It does what it does like nothing else can.

the breath of someone using DMSO is deadly. what a horid smell like a bucket of oysters sitting in the sun for a day.
