Always wanted to ask : What is the use of that pole on top of it ?

Did they have a Television set in these planes ?

Saw, that pole supports the cable that you can also see.  The cable runs from the pole back to the top of the tail.  This cable is used to dry your uniform after washing it.  

All WWII fighters generally have this cable running to the tail.  They also had a little crank inside that you could use to run your laundry out onto the line to blow it dry.  After your laundry was done you could crank it back inside.

hehe The pole that supports the cable is an invention in order to confuse the ideas to the enemy... the Italians used it in order to spread the mutandine of the women of the enemy who swept themselves but to times she was not sufficiently along for all the mutandine from woman hi all DRAGO
