A perfect example of how statutes are unyielding, unscientific, unreasonable and downright vengeful. The mother needs a psychiatric evaluation and the DA needs to go live in orbit without a spacesuit for a while.

Yes, I will admit that 16 year old girls can be attractive. I thought it when I was 16 and it hasn't changed. Doesn't mean I take it any farther than that. There is a such thing as mental maturity too, which, btw, is exactly the angle that state laws are designed to attack when mandating statutory rape lmits. The fact that they are physically mature is not in question.

Hmmm...

My take on all this is based on what I understand as the law.

The specific state (U.S.) or nation or local sets the age range for consent. Such as California says 18, Nevada says 16 (i've heard haven't checked it as most young girls are just that YOUNG) Also heard it was 16 in England.

Can't remember which state it is Alabama or some state near there says 14 for consent. And someone from the Aloha state claims it's 14 there (earlier in this thread)

Some nations have NO age limit set or ignore it. Such as Thailand. Thus you have individuals that travel there and do things and then get arrested when the return to the states. (Was in the news not to long ago)

Biblically the age is 12 (with parental consent, and provided the female was developed enough). Someone not too long back tried to claim in a newspaper article that the age of consent all across the U.S. in the 1800's was 12.

Hmm there is a net article that claims there is a group of people trying to change the age of consent to a much lower age. Has some interesting statements within it.

In California for awhile judges were not sending the older males to jail provided they married and cared for the younger female they had impregnated. (Guys were in their early 20's and the girls were varying in age from 14 to 17) Word was that the girls were looking for older guys to take care of them and sought out the guys and basically seduced em and sooooo .....

Note: to my understanding 13 or younger is, or can be depending on circumstances***, considered child molesting. 14 to 18 is statutory rape. (depending on the state, nation, or local law) Legally speaking!

***(Kind of an if she's 13 but already has a baby type of thing here!)

OK that's the word according to my understanding.

I am not a lawyer, and suggest you check your local laws if you have reason for concern.

My take on the 400+ is (as someone has already said) there ain't 400 of em

Many appear to be European?, some look like there in bars partying?, and a few of them do look under the age of 18 but most look closer to 18 or perhaps just over that age.

I was just messin with you anyway Porky, I'm in my early 20s... I still can't look at girls under 18, though, and get the same thoughts as I do when I'm looking at a 20 or so year old. Not because of the law, but because I have a younger sister. And no, I will not post her picture for anyone - especially any of the FDBs.

JB73, I'm actually right... Sandman is right too - Wisconsin must be bassackwards if that can happen.

In the metro DC area, there is a 3 year leeway... probably because they observed dumb situations like that and for once (rare occasion in this area) turned their brains on.

I totally respect the younger sister angle. I don't have one myself, but I've been close friends with younger girls and have always been vehemently protective of them, in all situations. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I know how guys think, and where they're brains are inevitably leading them, coupled with the fact that little girls these days tend to be free-spirited with their bodies while at the same time naive. It can be difficult with ten million Britney discples out there strutting around like it's no big deal. Anyway, I appreciate and respect your decency. Every older brother should do the same.

I cant even access my squad's board.

Whatever, I have been a loyal customer since forever, maybe they downgraded my treatment to consumer.

No explanation, no anything.

Let it be on record that I have supported this company since day 1. On direct recomendations alone there may be more than 10 active subscritpions on me, not counting mine, which is always active even when I dont have time to play. And I dont say its justification to do anything I want around here. Thats stupid. The way I see it I'm on probation because I outlived a close knit business model, and I'm out before the next step.

I guess the next step is turning into E.A

I'm not a real fan of how HTC moderates these boards to keep a "RATED: G" environment, either. These BB's are actually pretty damn suffocating at times...no room to be yourself.
