ONE in three British adults has been hit by crime in the past 12 months, a shock survey revealed yesterday.

But half of victims did not bother telling police — because they thought it would be a waste of time.

Of those who did report crimes, a fifth claimed cops failed even to respond. And the number of criminals who were caught and punished was a paltry 13 per cent.

The study of 17,000 adults nationwide shows crime is rising by nearly ten per cent more than government figures admit and means 17million people suffered a crime last year.

The Brits don't have as much experience of guns, and would make a mess of it. Best to start us off with spud guns I think.

Those crazy liberals took away most of our gun rights here in the U.S.  We can't have fully automatic weapons without some crazy license, no automatic weapons can be imported, and even weapons that LOOK like assault rifles will be banned soon.

A bunch of one eyed brits is still better than a bunch of victimized brits..

And... with less stupid gun laws their movies wouldn't have so many gun mistakes in em.

Hey, wait a minute. Is this the same lazs that didn't give a damn about British gun laws?

How ironic. The very same Americans who complain about people intruding on their affairs, particularly when it comes to gun laws, can't seem to resist having a snipe at those of other nations.

anyhow htf can 1 in 3 brits be crime stats ?

by my figuring that means even the criminals are not safe from crime....whats this world coming to when you cant even rob someone without the risk of being robbed yourself !

what the hell do you need an assult rifle for?  hell you need a licence for a car wtf is the problem with one for a damn automatic weopon?worried about king george still? to late he already is in power.

dowding..  I don't really care what you guys do about guns but having a bunch of one eyed brits is worth it if it improves your movies.  Either that or quit making films with guns in em.   Or... I could, for a small fee... help you guys out script wise.
