I think not. I think they would use diplomatic, economic and then military force to stop us from having a nuclear capability on thier border..

What makes you think Canada could develop nukes even if they wanted to? I mean judging by the intelligence of the average Canadian poster on these boards its no small wonder that the entire nation hasnt accidentally sunk itself in the ocean somehow...

We know that Canada as it is now with what little money goes towards defense, they would never be able to afford it, even if they scrapped whats left of their military.

Obviously some folks cannot differentiate someone who HAS nukes but would not use them except as a last resort, and folks who have nukes and will USE them at the drop of a hat...
