What are you running in the Healy then?  A 350 or a 327?

loser...  no.. modern torque thrusts are all alluminum... unsprung weight is way down with real mags... I run bilstein shocks in both cars.  Vibration can be anything... check the driveshaft and u joints first.   Nice car btw... the 340 is a very neat motor.   Seen the stroker kits they have for em now?

monk.. yes... that is my car.  I've had it for 30 years.  (it has had paint from time to time).

ra... if it is a girlfriend of mine then she has probly seen enough fingers to judge.   Wouldn't have it any other way... I don't get paid to teach.

deja... 331.. 30 over 327.   11.5/1 forged pistons solid lifter cam.  muncie 4 speed.

driveing the two cars one after the other is interesting.   The elky is all torque and a 6 speed tranny.   5 grand glues you to the seat and sounds like the end of the world... the healey loves to shift at 6500 and the "pull" builds.. if that makes sense.   The healey is, of course, faster but not by a huge margin.. It's more a matter of feel... that... and the wind and sun factor...  heck... I even put a 'vintage air" air conditioner in the elky.   The elky feels huge after the Healey...

oops lazs! forgot to mention this with the vehicle at rest or moving.   Guess the only real way to figure it out is to pull the bottom end apart.

I'll take both those off your hands for 50 bucks each and not a cent more.   Rather good deal if you ask me, don't let this chance to make some good money slip by.

loser... Pull the pan and look for broken piston skirts.   I drove a 327 for a year once and it had 4 broken skirts... knocks em out of balance a bit.   If you had a stick I would say look at the clutch disk.. I have ripped the face off half the disk before and got a wicked vibration.   Pull all the belts and run the motor to eliminate alternator, water pump and power steering ac whatever.

Sorry .. don't know a thing about automatics except that they don't like me and I don't like them.

And yes MT.... I am generalizing.

airhead.. email me and we can set up a day for lunch, dinner whatever.  I can even take a day off during the week.

Ammo...  It is the third ERA cobra built.  It has real knockoff wheels an two 650 holley's... neat car and he got it for some really cheap price about 8 years ago.. I think it was like 40 grand.  It runs 12.20's  the car is very well done with independent rear and all the cobra trim even has a toploader 4 speed with the mustang linkage reversed.... We punched off and the healey can't pull away from him.

Just put about 50 miles total on the healey today just driving around town (and back roads)... gawd it's nice out!   Took the M1 Garrand out and shot about 40 rounds of ought six ammo up too...... Us old unhip guys are really easy to amuse.
