thanks rip... I will post the pick of the M5 that i customized using an S10 bed and an old hemi I had laying around.

I like to drive the Healey by the Harley hangouts with the windshild folded down and run my hands through my hair (no offense rip) while they are struggling to put their helmets on and waiting for their old lady to squeeze into her gucci/harley leather outfit.

Frued would have a hayday with your apparent need to own cars that can only hold 2 people;)

I thought you poked a pushrod through the block on the Austin?  You have the new engine in already?

The Elky blew a 396 (someone unknown built it) but I had a line on a good, fresh 468 block... All is well.

Yep... Like all kinds of cars tho but.. one is small one is big.   My girlfriend says that finger length is a better indicator of noodle length than either guns or cars.

Been divorced so long now and the kids are raised so.. no need for a taxi cab.  Needed something with a pickup bed so.... the Elky instead of a SS coupe or convert... (hate the roof line on the coupe anyway).

My Harley only had one seat most of the incarnations.   Was a "moral" scumbag... figured it was ok to kill myself but felt a little bad about taking others with me.

Oh... two seats is no problem... there are very few people who will ride with me.

If anyone was at the con... A buddy from a modified healey group met me there and we drove his car to meet some of the other guys (I had never met)... His 60 healey was VERY fast.  made me a little nervous even.

loser.... they are even better than "real" torque thrusts.... They are American Racings first mag wheels... they are not aluminum... they are magnessium.   They are what Torque thrusts were modeled after.   Buddy gave em to me 20 years ago because they oxidize very fast and.... they are actually illegal for the street.  Love to run into the cop that knows that fact tho.

hmmm thought torque thrust D's were magnesium centers.  Oh and if i were a cop i would know they were illegal due to the sudden cracking and structural failure assoicated with magnesium.

Bet you can lift those things, tires on, with your pinkie finger.

way cool man.

but i think ill stick to my draglites.

In case you hadnt seen it before lazs

my girl has a 340 full manual valve body 727 and 8.75 out back.

in fact maybe you can help me.  I porked the tranny 2 years ago on the 1320.  Lost all line pressure and welded the input and output shaft together.  Foot never left the floor though (didnt want to lose to a Ford.

Had the tranny all gone over and rebuilt and it is all good.  But something is shaking around 2,800 rpms.

bent crank or rod?   I m hoping and thinking it is a rod seeing as how it shoudl be pretty hard to twist a 340 forged crank.

What do you think?

Which brings up the question: how many fingers has she seen?
