Just logged off with unplayable lag and rubber bullets in MA.  Net status shows flat.  Pingplotter shows steady <300ms with no spikes.  500 ppl online, constant warping cons...

Seems to be the norm any more. To many people, to much lag:(
Game seems to be not fun anymore, anyone know of a diff game that might be about the same. I feel more like a bug tester than a game player and I am not sure that is worth 15 bucks.

AH is under development all the time. Without our 15 bucks they cant fix bugs and develop the game. How about if we all quit every time there is some little bugs. That wouldnt work. HT is fixing bugs extraordinary fast, that is not happening in other flight sims.

If HT would let the game stay in current version and would stop development, Im sure most people would quit because there is nothing new. So let them make us the best sim and be patient, Im sure we get better game to play.

"Under development" is one of the most used excuses of all time. It's simple the server can't handle the load. Money is now more important than the game. They have been trying to fix warps/lags since I started playing 4 months ago, no better, if anything it is worse now than it has been in my short time playing.

Im sure HT and crew are working on the issue, but it is getting VERY annoying.  After 3+ years, I am starting not to enjoy the game....that aint good.

 There is no excuse:mad: , and no way to compensate for letting me spend 30 minutes planning a bombing run, only to be killed because with the all too frequent rubber bullets, a lone fighter can get behind you at 500 feet and spray your entire flight, and there isnt a damn thing you can do about it.  Sure he dies when the server catches up 2-3 minutes later...but in the mean time that lone fighter has taken out   12 buffs:mad:  .

Same thing goes with figher sweeps and jabo....unlike the correct way combat works, I get killed by ack, flack, and planes that I shot the crap out of 2 minutes ago.

It is getting exasperating, and I can assure you, that if it is not fixed soon, many will leave in frustration.  There needs to be immediate corrective action taken before it goes from completely crappy to total pile of steaming ****.  If its the goon drops causing the problem, limit troops to 30 per sector per country (or whatever)....identify those participating and deal with them....I dont care...just get it fixed.  Whatever the solution, I truely hope it comes  VERY SOON:mad: .

Agreed ALF. Heard enough of the excuses, just want it fixed. Starting to feel like I am paying $15 a month for the "privilege" of being a beta tester.

I assume the big lag (2 mins or so) that occured last night was due to the mass goon drop to reset. Can't believe knowing what it does that some cretins still do it. Still I suppose if it's the only way to take the base, then there will always be some idiots willing to go ahead with one. Seems as though recently the age of people in the MA is higher than their IQ.

I assume the scoring being down the last few days is part of this "working on it" thing going on?

What I don't get is why no communication on the board from them about what is going on.  Even a quick "hey guys we're taking down the scoring server and doing x, y, and z to try and solve some issues", would go a long way with the community.  Heck, even lie if you have to but silence is not golden...

hondo we have posted before whats going on. We still don't know whats causing it. The biggest problem is that the sql server softeware goes into a loop do to a condition that we have no idea what it is , sql then takes up 1/2 the servers cpu power. We have been trying to isolate the cause, and it's why we took down the score pages to see if it still does it. The scores are still there as before. Note some times it will go for a week with out the problem somtimes less than 1 day. Once this condition happens we have to bring down the arena to fix it. It's why so many resets have been happening latly.

We suspect it might be a free bsd problem , and now that solaris x86 is supported again, we have ordered a copy and will be moving back to solaris. Previously they didnt support xeon prosessors so we couldn't contiune with it.

But instead of all this squeaking which does absolutly no one any good, I would like to see some problem reports.

For instance last night was the text lag for an hour straight, 1 occurance, during troop drop only, or what.

Btw the troop drop issue is somthing ill be changing very shortly.

So what happend last night, btw not intrested in previous nights only friday.

This sounds related to the problem...
