« on: February 23, 2003, 03:16:39 AM »
First let me you TE guys do awesome work. And i am thankfull to all who share their how to with the TE.
With the talk of tiles it sparked an intrest to me. I was wondering how to get different terrain types into the terrain editor?Do they show up in the Set Terrain window?

ie.

Farm
Forest
Grass
Rocky Grass
Rock
Snow
Water.

Thanks

A few links for you:

Nuttz' "tile making 101" http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62849

Sample set of Tiles (Again Nuttz):http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=79395

Updated tile list by Guess who? : http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=63771

All you have to do to get them to show up is place them in the texsrc folder of the map your working on.

Here are the original tile set that normally should have come with the editor.

http://www.accesswave.ca/~tscott/AH-stuff/AH-Editor&Stuff/OriginalTiles/

Just make up a  folder called "textures" and place it in your C:\Program Files\HTC\aheditor\terrains dir.  Then place the tiles in them.
