In AH2,aircraft canopies that open,would be more immersive,flying low looking for Gvs,to slide the canopy back for better view or on landing/taking off

and hear the wind flapping my ears

Smoke from engine exausts on starting engine,rl sun glare,be nice to attack from the sun knowing the enemy was truly blinded
Limited icons showing country only,and even then limited range,plane type and distance being left to the pilot to judge.
Bomber damage model that reflects how tough those birds actually were!!!
Airfields that DONT have hills at end of runways making it impossible to up bombers.
AI acks that reflect more 'human' responses,for example,a NOE mission to an enemy field by Mosquitos for example should have a fair amount of surprise,a human gunner wouldnt have a clue where they were untill the very last second when they were upon them,maybe we shouldnt HAVE AI gunners at fields? this would force real folks to man the guns and defend them,no gunners? tough luck,should have defended your base,thats war.

Ditching at a field should count as a landing,outside field=ditch.
Would be nice to have downed pilots rescued to have their perk points saved,small planes/seaplanes/Jeeps could be used, with the recuer rewarded with recue perks.
Simple maintenance pads on runways,repairs having to be paid for with perk points,say damaged radiator=40 perks,flaps=20 perks,ailerons=30 perks,only damaged wings,tail,engine etc could NOT be repaired,minor stuff only.
The ability to HAVE to switch on oxygen over 10,000ft, forgetting to do so would result in blackout for certain amount of time due to oxygen starvation,aircraft damage could include damage to your oxygen equipment,limiting your combat ceiling to 10,000ft.
Finally sheep that dont run through thorns and nettles,my legs get cut to shreds and look a sight,Dadrabit has promised me some handcuffs to slow em up,but I fear that might not suffice,please look into this...
