The ME262 should be renamed...

..."Crack Cocaine" would be more accurate IMHO.

Very addictive. Very expensive. Leaves you feeling used when it's all over.

But you still want more!

(cost me 700+ perkies this weekend)

Flew it for free on Friday.  7/0 k/d but can't afford to fly it at the price atm.  Gotta brush up on my B pony skills to keep racking up perkies...  Need another fix soon...  Need it bad...

You!

I wasn't HOing ya, just wasn't paying enough attention to effectively avoid ya.

Nice gunnery.

Tangled with Mitsu in one this morning.  I was in a pony with a couple of other 412er's.  He got two of us (myself included) before I pinged his engine (after I reupped). Wail and I chased him across 3 sectors.  :D

I just hope Mitsu doesn't have many perkies left...

You guys didn't hear Kirin over Roger Wilco yet... I dunno how a man can drool, yell, laugh, sweat, scream & babble at the same time  ;)

I hear you've made one happy guy there, heh Kirin  :D

When 1.08 came out, I thought the place would be crawling with 262's, to date I have not seen one, except for mine  :)  which I lost, when a mossie, killed his throttle and accidentally rammed me    :(

However I've been cruisin around a little bit in a 262 and I find it hard to see how anything could even get close to killing it, assuming the driver keeps it fast. I mean there's no way anythings gonna  catch this baby.

With this in mind, I wonder why there aren't more around?

How fast does the 262 climb up to 30k, and how does it perform once it is there?

Seems like it would be the tailor-made solution to bust up a big high-alt formation of Buffs and Ponies.

Make that 900.

Took a 262 up last night with pimpjoe. Flew up north to combat the knight hordes, Did some B&Z work, got about 6 kills. I noticed my fuel getting low and started heading south. Got about halfway home and saw a low spit and 190. Pimp and I B&Zed 'em to death, my fuel was really low now, so I headed straight to my field. Had enough fuel for the landing with no second chance. I'm coming in a little too hot, so I zig-zag with full rudder to burn energy. I set her down and hit the brakes hard. Couldn't stop on the runway, coast about a hundred yards into a Palm grove, I slow enough to turn and my Jumo's suck the last bit of jet fuel and go kaput on me.

There I am sitting in my Messerschmidt just off the end of the runway. I get pimpjoe to bring me fuel in an M3. Doesn't work. Only for vehicles I guess. I have to abandon my expensive 262 in the palm grove and leave it to the salt air and sand.

 :(

Any rooks wanna do some 262 wingin' tonight?

Damn - consumed 3 of em so far... 1 lost in CTD (HT, please reconsider loss of so many perkies in a programm/system failure), 1 lost in killshooter (DAMN Glasses - a squadmate even!!) and one in collision with other 262 (of course he flew own unscarthed)... oth I glided 2 home so far - once outta fuel, once oil shot up...  ;)

Now I am all outta perkies... uuuuuuuaaaaah - need... more... I have to...  262 - arrrrrghh... speed... perkies - %*"&/ more now... gimme

LOL

Another mthing that is funny to me. EVERY 262 kill gets reported online. I thinks its hilarious when they name the driver too. "haha, <insert name> you just lost 200 perkies" You cant just go reup and get mad at yourself like the other perk rides. Noooo, they gotta report that you just got shot down in the one AC that shouldn't ever get shot down
