This looks like the last straw fellas.

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has challenged President George W. Bush to a live international television and radio debate about the possibility of looming military action, CBS News reported on its Web Site Monday.
Saddam made the comments in an interview with CBS's Dan Rather.
Saddam also flatly denied that Iraq's al-Samoud missiles are in violation of U.N. mandates and indicated he doesn't intend to destroy them or pledge to destroy them as demanded by chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix, CBS News

If the UN SC is to vote on the US/UK plan I predict the following votes from Permanent Members

US:For
UK:For
France:Abstain
China:Abstain
Russia:Abstain

Which means they will need 7 votes from non permanent members, which shouldn't be too hard to ensure...

Challenged him to a debate? WTF?

SH must be laughing in his bunker right now - this is downright embarressing. You know the UN is handling the situation incorrectly when one of the leading candidates for the Third Anti-Christ is challenging the President to a fuggin debate.

I say we support the debate. Bush can go down in history as the only President to get his hands dirty when he shoots Saddam mid sentence.

Bomb him and get it overwith - sick of hearing about it, and I hate Peter Jennings.

france and germany are already passing around a memo to increase the number of inspectors, they are saying war should be a "last resort" but they never say when the UN will run out of the other resorts and reach the "last resort".

Hopefully HTC will barricade themselves into the office with some ducT tape and plastic so when the server goes down I can still fly when the bad germs are floating outside my house.
