What about the people who pay to play

Just curious but If you are an already paying subscriber like me and cannot get into the MA do you get a discounted rate for that month.  I clicked on th MA when it read 700/700 and my pc blasted to desktop.  I wonder if there is a way of the login attempt to be recorded for future discount.  I think that it only be fair to people who have been longtime subscribers, and have to sit out for someone getting a free ride due to a marketing strategy.

Would you really want a .49 cent refund?

A penny saved is a penny earned.

When the arena was full the other night, I just hopped into the CT arena for a bit until I was able to get into the MA.

I used to squeak when there was only 30 players online as I was up late night on weekends because I have worked graveyard for years.

Now that I claim I am a long term subscriber like Pollock, I see how good this 700/700 arena is.

But wait. I'm now convinced on the refund deal. I could buy another bigscreen? And I haven't even checked the couch.

Cheezy Poofs and change?

Sweet.

Well, in all seriousness ... it is rather unfortunate that paying accounts cannot gain access to the game due to the influx of free accounts HTC has provided. Maybe they gave out too many? I dunno. Is a refund in order? I dunno, dont think so - but perhaps something is.

Suck it up and show a little patience.  The free promotion will be over soon and every thing will be back to normal and we'll all start whining about how we miss the influx of seal cubs to bash around.  Heck I actually watched some TV and read a book on raising sheep tonight when the arena was too crowded for me.

Free trials now?  No wonder I've been getting such easy kills during prime time US East coast.  And here I thought I was a Yak master or something.

As one who suffered the loss of AW, I think I can speak with some authority. It's in all our interests (well, in yours since I recently quit AH) that HTC gains many new customers and keeps them. I doubt many of the elite here can afford to finance HT on their own... he's gotta keep that plane flying. Were I you, though I guess I'm not any longer, I would encourage the new players and do all I could to help them. You best hope HTC is really successful in their business promotions... you stand to benefit as much as HiTech... ummm, well, almost  =o)

So, you don't want us to come back and keep Hitech in business, so you can end up looking for another game, is that what you're saying?

I thank you for allowing me to sample "your" game

I'll give it back to yo in a few days, in the meantime, try Prozac

Pollock said it was principle, and I agree.  "Why should I pay for a product I cant even play, while some guy who is here for 2-weeks for free gets in when he wants to".  Now how you would solve this problem to let everyone who pays and 2weekers online I have no idea...obviously multiple arenas wont work because that just simply splits it up and you now have 2 full arenas.  Yeah you can tell someone to go to the CT...but for some the CT isnt just their cup of tea.

Yes it is only until March 15.  Still what happens when we actually *have* 700 paying players.  Move the limit up to 1000?  Sorry but the server seems to conk out above 400...just making things worse.
