If you like warbirds I suggest that you get all the flying in that you can because it won't be around much longer.  I've been watching the IMGK stock ticker this morning and it's dropping like a rock. If you'd like to watch the carnage as it unfolds head on over to...
 http://quotes.nasdaq-amex.com/Quote.dll?page=full&mode=basics&symbol=IMGK%60&selected=IMGK%60

It closed at about $1.50 last night and it's already down to $.75.

How would the price of existing shares affect the WB? If somebody tells you that the price of your house just dropped 50%, would it affect it's size or your salary, etc?
 Not really.
Same with IMGK.  Not plesant to the owners of those shares but the revenue and customers and employees will be there the next morning.
Of course if they planned to use their shares to finance their expansion (secondary offering or as a collateral for the loan) that will not work now. And employees attracted by share options may leave. But I did not hear anything about that yet.
On the other hand with their shares so cheap, some other strong company could just buy the whole IMGK along with the WB.

The share price is tied to the value investors put in IMGK's business model. If it's dropping there's a reason.  In this case IMGK's earnings per share are -$1.94.  That's a major disaster.  How would you like to lose 2 bucks for every dollar you pump into a company? OUCH! They probably DON'T have the money to pay employees or promote their game or for that matter do anything else.  It's not like that share price comes out of thin air.

Ross Perot,

that man who towers above all, said about NAFTA we would hear a "great sucking sound" when it was implemented. Of course he was wrong.

However, when THIS Puppy,  or else when Killer's Sim goes beta, there will be a great sucking sound, and that will be the sound of folks bailing out of WB bigtime.  Quote me

Sorta presumes WB still being around, don't it?  That's looking less and less likely every day.

PS - That's his ears that tower above all.

Warbirds will go to flat rate pricing if they can or they will disappear by the end of the year. Fact

Warbirds will disapear regardless...  FACT! <g>

I'd be very surprised if good ol WB wasn't gone within a few months.  Their stock is down to $0.875 per share.  I read the company profile and it looks to me like they have around 3.25 million dollars left in cash and short term investments.... but they are hemoraging more than that every quarter.  In other words... they are out of money or will be very shortly.

IMGK stock closed at 62 cents today.  At this rate it might be cheaper for Hightech Creations to simply purchase Warbirds and update it rather than develop Aces High.

6Gun -

You couldn't be more wrong about NAFTA. I live in SD and about 20 mins from my house you can _really_ hear, (and see) that sucking sound.

It goes much deaper than that. There isn't a US based manufacturer of _anything_ that hasn't seriously considered moving some or all of it's opeations down there. NAFTA makes it really easy financially.

The only things keeping jobs here are inertia, better quality of materials and consistant, reliable utility supply and transportation.

Paying some poor guy $5 per _day_ for assembly work beats a union wage of $15/hr here no matter how you slice it.

Not to mention that IMGK failed to disclose information properly, which will most likely lead to civil suits brought on by shareholders. Which will suck IMGK dry with legal expenses if they win, or suck IMGK dry with legal expenses and reimbursements if the lose.

I think... recall reading that somewhere...

It's like dejavu all over again.WB feels like AW did before I canceled my delphi account and started flying CK when it came out in beta.

BTW...what was the first ck beta ver?I think I started in the mid 80's{.84?}.I think it was 2 countries, but my memory fails.I miss my Blue homeland!  {G}

At least I don't have to be a skeptic{even with TAS}.I know what these guys can do!

We will see what simulations will be still alive in 3 years. AH already showed "big" ability in business, remembering Imagic? If there will be something out more worth my money than WB it will most probably come from Playnet. Why should I change to AH to play a WB2.8a if I can get a WB3.0 at INet?
