272 Squadron "Whispering Death"
« on: February 27, 2003, 04:00:48 PM »
Although our squadron is not based on a historical premise, there is a little bit of history regarding our name - only coincidentally, I assure you.  It appears that the RAF during WWII had a squadron - the 272 RAF squadron, who flew Bristol Beaufighters.

One of the nicknames of the bristol beaufighter just happens to be  "whispering death".

Another little known fact.

Anyway, 272 squadron is recruiting, and our website is back up, although a bit outdated.  We will be updating it throughout the next week.
