O.K., in TOSCWB we have some glaring problems in the six views.(and plenty of "Crusaders"     to remind us of it) The concerns voiced are valid for the most part and I`m wondering if Aces High will correct these problems from the start. IMO "Most" views are a bit generous based on the reference materials I`ve seen, and some are probably too severe. Will a better solution/compromise be implemented for "ACES HIGH" or will we be saddled with another art package that has the same inequalities as Warbirds currently has? Janes WW2 Fighters may be a good example to look at for an equitable solution and may be more of "A Real World 6 View"than what we`ve seen in the past. The "Linda Blair View"is totally bogus though, just my .02 cents. Thanks for your patience Pyro.

I've talked with members of AH and have found out that they feel being able to check your 6 will only cause grief and worry.  How many times, after all, did you see someone saddled up on you and felt panic. So, to help the world be a better place and keep the customer base from getting ulcers you will only have the forward view.

Look forward to an arena with happy, smiling pilots filled with goodwill

PS  Your ping sounds will also be disabled for much the same reasons.

PPS For the truly unenlightened the previous post was completely bogus.  Trust in the HT.

Do we get some of those cool 'don't panic' glasses that turn completely black in the event of danger, as well?

Weazel,

They're modeling a 3D cockpit. You can move your head! No more static crossbeams to obstruct your view. If this doesn't calm the 6-view crowd, I don't know what will.

Love the 3D Cockpit Idea,

If I turn too sharply, will I smack my head on the window if I'm not strapped in properly?

And if a shell explodes in your neck, your severed head will bounce inside the cockpit with corresponding changes in your view
