1st guess would be British paratroopers during the D-day landing? or possibly Market Garden but then i had a thought....

        I beleave the pic is from Ahrnim 1944, they are British Paras/Glider born troops.

I think you mean Arnheim? :D I already thought it was in Holland due to those "klinkers" on the road.

(Klinkers = special kind of tiles, often called "Kinderhoofdjes")
