I don't think he was getting 6 calls or help from anybody.

You mean this one Skernsk? (for the uninitiated gunman's original handle was gunman26, then he disappeared, possibly after being banned, and reappeared as gunman42, the following conversation then started:)

Saw a goon drop over an airfield  (city was still up) last night, HAD to have been a 10-15k drop.

was in a gv,  took forever for them to float down.
You know that your landing gear is up and locked when it takes full power to taxi to the terminal

When dropping troops while flying level it is hard to drop them at the right place, even when flying at 1kft. Are you sure he wanted to drop over the field, not over the town?

In AW one time, I augered to get a goon. I'm approaching the base in question and lining up to drop my drunks. I hit the button to push all of my drunks out and nothing is happening. A squaddie flys up next to me and tells me I'm flying an F6F. Needless to say, I was in such a hurry to get a goon to the base, I didn't even pay attention to what I was flying. Some of my squaddies to this day won't let me forget that one.

You had to abuse a bug to do it, it was not intended that way.

I've spent time flying goons down below 50' H-over-G taking advantage of every little bump and gully to hide from the dirt on my screen several times. Although spending five minute trying to hide in the terrain from my mouse pointer has got to rank up in the great 'oops' competition...

You know you're tired when you keep trying to click on a window to get it to pop up over the piece of paper you have leaning against your monitor.
