So the other new plane is an IL2.    I guess we know what plane will be the prefered ostie buster soon.

There are also some screenshots of the landing craft.  They look nice.

Check the news.

I noticed the LVT has the pindel mounted .30 cal (with odd looking heat sheath).

I *really* *really* Pyro decides to go ahead a quick M3A2 Halftrack

On a financial note: Warbirds is introducing a new version that currently is in open
Beta, Fighter Ace 2 continues to improve, WW2 online looms on the horizon and
competition seems to arise from the venerable Air Warrior Millennium to the
upstart Target: Korea.  ll of these games, and yours, will be vying for the online
dollar.  Do you think that the proverbial town is big enough for all these games?
What do you think you have to do to make Aces High stand apart from the other
                                          games on the net?

I know it’s big enough for us. I would think that it’s potentially big enough for everybody, but
that really depends on each company’s ability to deliver their product and what it costs
them to do it. It might not even matter that much for some of the larger companies if they
feel a great part of the value of the game comes from adding content to their gaming site to
make it more attractive and complete. No one sim is going to fit everyone’s preferences, so
having a variety of viable products makes for a bigger market. The point at which saturation
is going to occur is dependent to a large degree on the influx of new players into this
                                          market.

I think the thing that sets us apart is the consistent and timely evolution of the game and
the fact that we’re a small business and not a large corporation. To keep things moving
requires efficiency, the ability to grind it out over the long-term, and knowing what you can
do in a given amount of time. I know that we have what it takes to do that year in and year
out and not just be a flash in the pan.

Now that is a statement from a secure contender in the FS market.  The MMPOG market hasn't begun to be tapped, baby!

Great interview, Pyro!

also in the interview :

Are you considering implementing a cheaper, but time limited, plan for those individuals who either can't afford $30 a month or for those of us (like me) who don't have enough free time to actually make a full price membership justifiable?

not that i think $30 is too expensive, it just depends on how much time you can be on-line, like he says.
but i really hope they give this idea some serious thought ; seems to me that it's better to have a number of players flying let's say 10 hours for $10 than not have them flying (and paying) your sim at all ...
