Author Topic: Intermittant loss of zoom view (Read 345 times)

I have recently run across a problem trying to use the zoom view. I have on occasion lost the ability to zoom in. I can see there is some slight movement when I press the zoom key, so I believe that the key command must be getting through, but the zoom is so slight as to be negligible.
This problem comes and goes, and seems to occur after I have changed views (look right, look left, look back).
Any thoughts from any of you guys?

U been pressing your [ ] keys without realizing it?

I don't think so Skurj. I have all my keys mapped to my throttle and joystick, so it is possible that I may have accidentally hit them. I've never had this problem before though, so unless I've developed some bad habits, I don't think that is it.

Sometimes that happens to me as well and if you press 'Z' when your zoom has appeared to become stuck will usually fix it.

I have had a problem before that if I die with my zoom fully zoom-ed out (lol), that the next time I use zoom I have 2X zoom then what I had the last time. In other words, I had double zoom magnification. Its kinda annoying, but MAN you can see far away!
