There were a whole bunch of people on the otherside of that wall who for them communisim was a way of life. When the walls came down they spread out west and infected parts never seen before. If you ask me we made a bad mistake thinking because that wall came down communisim went away, it didn't.
Think about the last anti-war/U.S. protests in Europe you think it was the largest ever because all of the sudden the majority of Europe prior to the supposed end to communisim had a change of mind? Heck no those those li'l red bastiges from the east are all over the place now. Even in German government under some different name wanting to build a new playground for themselves and tell everyone 'see it isn't so bad look at all the fun we had.'
Bet you never talked to a a so called communist .
There were millions of people who grew up in the DDR.
They gave their best to make things work and when the whole toejamhouse went down in flames they lost everything they belived in.
Wasn't their fault that they were born into that situation.
Wasn't their fault that they hadn't a (free) press to build them themselves a picture of the world.
Wasn't their fault that they all of a sudden were unemployed after the wall has fallen.
Wasn't their fault that they never got the chance to choose a government by a fair and free election.
These people had fallen in a very deep hole and i still feel sorry for many of them.
Was mostly bad luck for them, nothin else.
The only reason why you and me are not educated as communists is just luck, nothin to be proud of .
