We can not add Shore batries to the map only the MAp Maker can do that, the Ports and some bases have Shore batries. Part of the problem is that a couple of those bases in the agean have the ships spawning so close to them that even if they are sunk they just reapear. Frankely I would just let them have them and go fight else whear.

All right kids, simmer down.:) Your various opinions are all valued...we just want to keep the discourse civil, please.  Remember, the art of diplomacy involves telling someone they're full of it, and make them think it's a compliment;).  While this set up is a bit of a "what if" scenario, we still try to give at least a head-nod to history.  At this time in the war, there wasn't much of a German/Italian naval presence in the Med, at least not one that involved ships bigger than a destroyer.

Ok ... my take on the setup. This ain't the MA where everything has to have perfect parity. Some may see this as a challenge. I bet them checkerbutts would love to see a situation like this reversed. Then they could see how efficiently they could capture a port then sink a fleet, thereby depriving the enema of a fleet (pardon the pun). I bet they could do it. ;)

sorry arlo, but in this particular setup, you're talking out your ass.

'K
Maybe I'm missing something.  Is it not possible in this setup to sink the allies' fleets & capture the port(s) at which they're based?

I know some people who are quite good at this sort of thing.

BS, amigo. The allies have reset how many times now? It's a whine. Waaaa ... can't sink their fleets all by myself without my own fleet or shore batt .... waaaaaa.

Pavlovian reflex sets in - gotta sink the fleet - GOTTA SINK THEIR FLEET! *pant pant*

Big deal. Do something else or try to get others to help ya capture their port and sink the fleet. :D

Ok, Shanester ... what "point" am I missing here? Explain it to me so I can see this isn't a whine at all but a logical suggestion that turns this terrain and set from a "flop" to a "winner". ;)
