880 Squadron Fleet Air Arm is looking for up to two new recruits to join its ranks.
What makes us different? Well 2 things. Firstly we are an "event" squad, we fly the Snapshots, CAP, Squad Operations, and Scenarios (like Midway and Niemen) almost exclusively. We fly CT weekly as well. We fly to carry out the mission, and rtb afterwards. The Main Arena is not what we do.
Secondly, we are a historic squad, and try to emulate as best we can the real 880 Sqn that flew in WW2. We cant always fly our regular rides, but we make do untill a Carrier is made available
.
The squad is 10 months old in AH, the core players have been together since 1998. Any experience level welcome, we are looking for mature, and friendly individuals. We have 19 on the roster right now.
