personaly, i don't think the US needs that many more plane, let alone bombers (Dev. time = ~4 fighters), we need more japanese, russian (how's about some not so uber planes?), and italian planes (or tanks, hey, they'll be good targets:) )

The Italian air force is the one that have less planes! I hope they would add some surely less known but interesting planes, such as

Reggiane Re 2005 Sagittario
Fiat G55 Centauro

to complete the "5 series" of fighter (along with the 205), and some bomber, such as

Siai Marchetti SM79 Sparviero
Siai Marchetti SM82 Marsupiale
Siai Marchetti SM84
Piaggio P108b
Cant Z. 1007 bis Alcione

some of them are worthy planes at all (Re2005, G55, P108b), some other have to be included for historical reasons (if there are the Spit I, P40, A6M2, why not some Italian early war bomber?)

(And don't underrate Italian tanks, BenDover, you could have bad surprises!

I would like to see the game have the ability to pick up a downed pilot. The Kill would be scored for the pilot shooting down the aircraft in all cases. The pilot that successfully bailed could be picked up by either a vehicle or plane and drivin back to base. If he exited there he would recieve a successful landing not a death. It would provide excitement for a pilot risking his life to save a downed commrad. Modeling of Jeeps, PBY's, or J-3's might be interesting and maybe have other roles.

Artilary Pieces.... delivered by Jeeps.... and J-3's used as spotters. Maybe some sort of co ordinate system might be devised for artilery at range. Ammo resupply could be carryied by C-47 or jeeps and stockpiled but only the gun sould be removed and repositioned. The only way to see the results of fire would be from a forward observer. Might be fun ...

No, that Spitfire Mk Va was the all machine gun version. Only created because Douglas Bader insisted that the cannons were a mistake and he wouldn't fly anything with them (my phrasing of his position).
