Why do Nokia rule in cellular phone markets?
« on: March 07, 2003, 08:29:40 AM »
Because their products just rock :)

I just got a 7650. Now I can go to the tittie bar, grab some pics, e-mail them to my friends and check incoming e-mails too.

Hell I can even call to my friends from the bar with it if I have to :D

well the quality of the photos isn't too good but that's what real cameras are made for...

I gleefully upgraded from a "almost always dead battery" motorola to a Nokia a while ago.  My current carrier isn't the greatest and Im using a 5165 right now.  What drives me nuts is that the phone is "hard coded" to always seek out the strongest signal....so I'll have a solid digital connect, then it insists on re-training or something, seeking out an analog signal, keeping me there for a few minutes, then opting to go back to digital...and the loop continues.  Meanwhile, calls are dropped.  If I could just program this sucker to STAY on the signal it has, I'd be a happy man.

Just wish satellite phones were cheaper  :)

I've had much better results with Motorolla than Nokia.

Staga, regarding tittie bars...I prefer to actually cook food and eat it rather than look at pictures in a Better Homes and Garden magazine. ;)

Nokia rules. I switched from Nokia to the Sony-Ericsson T-68, it was one of the first colour fones to come out. It's not a patch on the Nokia set-up - it's slow and not as intuitive, although the joystick and battleships game is nice. :)

I'm either going to get the 7650 or wait for that 3650 video phone thing.

my nokia has hit the floor countless times, had beer splashed on it several times, and even fell on a toilet. It stopped working for 2 days and then it was back in action.

Its 2 years old and with all that happening it still works like new

NOKIA rules the celular business because of quality. I hope more corporations would take notice.

If you don't have a digital camera, it's quite desirable. :)

Now go back to your snow covered mountain, you bastard, and spare a thought for us poor Brits who are mountainless. :D

Now THAT would have been a "Kodak Moment" seeing you fish that out of the toilet. :D

Incidently, a gal in our building lost her pager to the toilet, called Maintenance, and they not only fished her pager out, but another that looked like it had been in there for a couple years that no one claimed. (Company issued)

Lucky it wasnt a public toilet. It was the toilet at work which was seemingly clean.
Who knows how many bacteria I smudge into my ear every time I use it now

I prefer SonyEricsson to Nokia.

The 7650 is way too big for what it offers, IMO. I own a T68i and I'm very happy with it. Plenty of features, too: Camera (free accessory), WAP 1.2.1, GPRS, IR port, Bluetooth, TriBand, and a good battery.
