Planes I've lost to most since Starting AH

I finally got Innominate's page downloaded, and have my stats for every kill/death that has ever occured to me since starting my career in AH. WTG Inominate!

So what do you think has killed me the most?

P-51D.......105 Deaths
LA-7...........100 Deaths
Spit 9..........88 Deaths
Ostwind......78 Deaths
N1K2...........77 Deaths

After the top 5, the numbers drop off into the 50's.

Now I suspected this would be the case, but the question is....are these 5 weapons "Uber"? Or are the proliferation of them in the arena the cause for their large share of kills on me? Or are they in large numbers BECAUSE they are "Uber"?

Ostwind's are definately one of the five best planes in AH. ;)

This is not a possibility....this is a given.

However, I checked the stats on one the better pilots in my squad...the newly crowned King of the Hill, and his top 5 killers were the same as mine.

Pony, LA-7, Spit-9, Osti, and Niki.

Your inadvertantly startin' another "why this plane should be perked" kickin' the already dead horse for the bilionth time thread again.

Look at Mini D's stat page for the last tour. Look at the K/D ratio for these planes. Yes they kill alot, but they also die alot too.

Who said anything about perking? Not I!

I was merely pointing out the planes that shot me down the most. Is it MY fault that they all happen to be the same 5 Vehicles that are often at the heart of a perk debate? I believe it's just a coincidence.

Now go away! Your scaring the fish!;)

And stop screwing up my subtle "Perk this" threads! I work hard on these damn it!

Wow, Slappy, your right!

After looking at Mini-Ds numbers, I'm surprised I was not shot down by more 190 D-9s with a 1.77K/D or even an A-5 at a 1.61 K/D. Oh, what aboutthe G-2 with a 1.37 or the P-47D, with a 1.51.

These machines are clearly superior!

Not that I would Perk them or anything...

And You can't perk the Spit-9, even though it accounted for 10% of all kills in the arena in tour 37. Of course, it dies just as much as it kills, so you surely can't perk that.

The Connecticut Boyz (Icer, Mars01, BadBoy58, and myself) just might take a Sunday ride ... when it gets WARMER !!!

It's not the top five planes that have killed you the most you have to worry about.  People fly those planes the most so it goes without saying they will have the most kills on you. Even the newbs get lucky sometimes. :D

The interesting stats are the planes you have a negative kill ratio against.  I fear:
P-47D11
Tempest
262
P47D25
and the dreaded Hurricane IIC

So if you're out to get me, fly one of those!!!

Actually, I find my K/D vs particular planes to be more interesting than just looking at what kills me the most. For the most part, I usually kill a lot more of those planes than kill me. :)

BTW, they should perk all the dam bombers....they usually kill me more often than fighters :D.

The fact that almost everyone in AH flies LA7's, spit9's, mustangs or nikis is why they have the most kills on people... But remember why people fly them. THEY'RE UFO'S AND INCREDIBLY EASY TO FLY.

I have to say, Wetrat, I find the Pony over rated. Maybe it's because I'm not very good at the Boom and Zoom. I also find it's tendancy to go into a spin annoying. I'm used to a plane you can really knock around like the F6F or FM2.

But for speed, youre right.

That's because those are the 5 planes most likely to be found vulching a capped airfield.  So, statistically, those are going to get the most kills.

Its curious that there aren't any Navy planes there.  Obviously we need more ports and carrier groups!
