Stuff like this is precisely why I moved my family out of California. High taxes, high utility costs, insane housing costs, lack of fresh water (socal), CARB, only average salaries, etc...

In West "by God" Virginia, that license plate would only cost $35 if you get the basic plate. If you want the fancy scenic plate it will run you $45, and the personalized plates will go $55.

I do feel sorry for Cali residents, we are going thru the same crap in this state at a different level. Instead of Gov't having someone audit them to see where they can cut corners and be accountable for themselves, they just want to raise taxes in a state like ours where unemployment has risen to 8%

MrLars, I'd personally go with 192 gr. however leave me off your "list" since I vote the issues, not the party. (I even voted for a democrat in 2000 election, but not Gore! )

GTO... reloading is the key. My cheap source of 45's is about dried up anyway so I might as well start reloading for them too. I can reload a box of shells for less than the propossed tax would be.
