you can put a veil over the truth(justification for war is NOT WMD's...but OIL control)

do you actually think your president is gonna say "listen folks....10 to 15 years from now we'll be a country without oil"

gas prices are gonna sky rocket to unknown levels never before seen.....think about it.

you now control Saudi Arabia....Kuwait.....next is IRAK

Right!  Nixon started it with his oil embargos to drive up the price of domestic oil.  Ford was an idiot and sat on his hands too long and OPEC pulled back on their production so that their prices would match the rates the US suppliers were charging - hey the sheiks were getting screwed out of revenue per barrel and wanted their piece of the action! To keep the sheiks at bay, Carter went to Egypt back in the '70s to broker a deal for Russian white slave prostitutes being ferried inside empty missile tubes (the whole "peace with Israel" thing was just a cover to set up a diamond cartel). Kissinger went along with it because he was part of the secret diamond cartels in West Germany selling stones shipped through Tel Aviv and his NY connections completed the precious gemstone triad between Moscow and South Africa, so he knew he could get diamonds across borders if he kept mum on the prostitute thing.  Those diamonds were being mined by al Queda cells who used the funds to purchase US Sidewinders - the same missiles bringing down Soviet MiL helicopters in Afghanistan in the '80s!  Reagan was in on it, which is why the Iranian Muslim fundamentalists held the US hostages in '79 until after the US presidential election was over - Carter could get off scot-free since he was no longer in office but was still entitled to immunity from prosecution overseas!  Khomeini was all about the oil but he bartered in diamonds to keep the market up.  He knew he could only keep power so long as he had the diamond merchants backing him up.  Bush learned all about this during Reagan's turn in the White House and used those connections to expand the white slave prostitution ring and diamond brokering operation into Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm so that he could get friendly oil rates in exchange for white slaves.  Clinton risked blowing the whole thing apart.  Clinton "got high on his own supply" which is where Lewinsky fit into the picture.  When that white prostitution scandal hit the papers, Clinton had to back off on the oil and diamond operations.  You ever wonder why Clinton remained in office?  Because he had the oil and diamond guys backing him up!  They knew where Clinton stood and they wanted to keep him in office rather than risk some loose cannon blowing the lid off the whole thing.  So along comes Bush Part Two and he's back after Iraq.  Coincidence?  I think not!  He's pushing his dad's agenda - OIL!

I wonder how many that are so willing to spew French bashing jokes have actually been there and spent time with their people? Most likely not too many. yes, yes, yes, there are a few and we've heard from them, They went there, with plenty of pre-concieved notions and most likely played the role of the Ugly American to the hilt and were not dissapointed at the treatment they recieved.  But I suspect that most are just parroting what they heard from Uncle Bubba or something tossed around in their local watering hole and think its sooooo clever.  Its not patriotic to bash our allies. If you want everyone to jackboot in line with whatever YOU are told to think.. well, my friends, you are in the wrong country.

And to think they helped create(*) this country. I guess back then it was simply a case of "my enemies enemy is my friend".
Oh well.......press on.

"Ney said he was of French descent and "once the French government comes around we can get back to talking about french fries."

Thats just a stupid remark, although I understand why we want to change the name to freedom fries.
That picture with Hitler in front of the eiffel tower was not a picture of a tourist. It was his new toy. The whole country belonged to him.

What did you think of that picture straffo? How did it make you feel? And quit changing just the names in the posts it doesnt make sence anymore when you do and its just stupid :D

I've (and already posted that) personaly a huge debt for the US.
The Us have given us freedom.

But does this debt mean that we shouldn't use our freedom to disagree ?

LOL u jest. Sadaam is an invader, he has been kicked out of kuwait city already. Just because he isnt in France  at the moment does not change the fact that he is an evil dictator
who murders thousands and rapes just as many a year.

You sir, have no kahunas.

I have.... I spent 5 years living across the border in The Rineland-Palz, and was treated like dirt every time I went to France, not an ugly American Just a poor soldier, trying to see Verdun and a few other historic sites.  But my real beef is the way they treated my wife, any where else trying to speak the local language is considered an attempt of respect, in Paris a guy pissed on my car.  No if you want culture go to Belgium, the food comes in larger portions, and the folk there are willing to see past the preconceptions.  As a side note, I would go to Sweden before France, in spite of the $15.00/ lb T-bones there.  <1988>
