I dont think there was auto-climb or auto-level, so isnt that more realsitic?

Anyways, I think you should be able to see behind you.  If I can see behind me in a car with a seatbelt on really tight, I think you can in a plane (but I would not know). However, I guess it is realistic that when pulling a high-g turn or something that then it limits your view, because in high g's you cant really move your body.

Hazed... with all due respect,

that's sort of like the same logic when some people in IL-2 forums argue that "no-cockpit mode is a compromise for the visual limits on a plane, and is more realistic than the restricted cockpit view".

 ....

I'm not saying that we should dumb down 6-view to IL-2 levels.

I clearly and surely agree that IL-2's lack of 6-view where your 5, 6, 7 O'c is totally obscured, is an "overkill" to please the nutty 'realism fanatics' who confuse 'hard' with 'real'.

However, as much, as I have stated earlier, getting a panoramic "wide-vision" 6-view in one touch, is nonsense. No excuse for such thing. What I'm saying is divide our current 6-view in half, and make people get only 1 at a time - the left galf and the right half.

trackIR is the only way to go... I'm serious, once you've used it with the enhanced mode you can hardly go back... I get into Aces and continually move my head around like I do in IL2-FB until I realize I have to go back to the old fashioned multiple hat/button combinations to look where I want to.  For any flight sim enthusiast you simply HAVE to get one.  Not saying the other views shouldn't be there for others that aren't into it as much but I for one will be making purchase decisions based on who supports the trackIR in the future.
