Mmmmmm.... Beer

This thread is totally dedicated to Beer, Beer types, Beer Receipes...Mmmmmm just Beer.  There are no Democratic Beers, no Republican beers, no Green party ...oppps maybe Green Beer.

So all my AH Friends and Foes...let's all discuss the only thing that can bring us all together without argument... that joyful concoction of hops, wheat and barley... that greatful brew that makes us wake up with ugly women, that nectar of the Gods that make us do encredibly stupid chit.... a toast if you will to...

Mmmmmm    Beer!

4 Years in Germany in the Bayrueth, Barvaria area I have developed a taste for Miasels Hefe Weissen....

Worse Beer expierience:

On a hot German afternoon, sitting at the puter. My last Miasels Hefe was basking in the coldest nook of my freezer. Wanted to get that icy sliver feel on the first chug...  Deeply into my puter game I realized it has been too long since I've checked on my Hefe Baby...:rolleyes:
I dart to the kitchen to discover it had developed a nice chunk of ice in the neck and was unable to pour.... no problem.  With the wife gone shopping, last beer in hand, I got the grey matter smokin...how do I get past the ice to the brew I love best?.... then "ding" like I've heard many times before...the Microwave!  Just a minute or two...remove the cap....tic, tic, tic, tic...something is not right!  I removed the heavenly bottle to see that the ice, ever smaller was still in the neck.... no problem...reach into a drawer and remove one each Phillips screwdriver... a REAL Mans tool.....three chips into the ice and with GREAT force beer gushed to the ceiling, Now enters wife, home from shopping...

:eek:   Place no Beer into Microwaves!!!!

Anyone ever try Sam Adams Triple Bach?  I believe they marketed it as a uncarbonated beer.  It came in a dark purple bottle with a cork.  Don't know if its even out there anymore


That was some nasty stuff....  

However, I am partial to Spotted Cow (New Glarus, WI brewery).
