DROOOL! Wow this looks really promising. If that's the unfinished exterior of the B 17 I can t wait to see the final version.

And the windows of that factory even have little curtains drawn into them? Cute!

The pony looks beautiful as well, can t wait to take one apart with my 151/20s.

Keep up the good work guys

Sascha

BTW: Does that notepad we see in the cockpit shots serve a purpose in the game?

Are we gonna see our opponents handles, I thought just the little, Knight, Rook, or Bishop Icon, and are the numbers Range in Yards? Feet?

And laaaaaaassssssssttly.

I notice what appear to be strings from one aircraft to the next, about the configuration that the guns would be spaces apart, supersonic contrails left by the rounds as the pass through the air, or something you guys are using to help you set up the balistics?  Hope they aren't there online when someone is on my six.

Other than my whining and moaning, and demonstration of my ability to be critical.

It looks gorgeous.  would it be possible to do a little mov or avi of say someone looking around a virtual cockpit? and post that on the site?  WOuld love to see that.

Sascha,

Your suggestion is in the plan, we just haven't implemented it yet.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Okay.  We now have a link to the new screen shots on the main navigation bar.  Again, I apologize for the confusion.

I would just like to point out something:

Downtown asked if we would be able to see our opponents handles.  I beleive, as I am sure many others do, that this would be a bad idea.  Being able to see the other players' handles while flying makes it too easy to unfairly single out one particular individual for destruction.  For example, the better players may be singled out because of the prestige or extra points associated with shooting them down.  Newbies would suffer as well because intermediate players could single out with certainty, an easy kill.

The only situation in which it would be fine to display the handles is, a head to head match up.

I know when you could see enemy IDs back in the CK beta, I'd definitely go gunning for Pyro.  Not that it did me any good <G>.

In Flying Circus I loved (and hated) the fact that kill streaks were displayed.  Anybody that was one or two kills away from getting a different symbol attached to his handled was always my first choice of targets.  A kill is just that much more satisfying when you know you've caused some pain. <G>

Good lookin' shots, gang!  ...but I was dissappointed when I couldn't scroll down and see more.    That does satisfy for the moment though.
