Methods of attack
« on: March 12, 2003, 04:22:05 AM »
Heard on the news that if the U.S. did go to war with Iraq, the air war and ground war would be simultaneous.  The news even said that paratroopers would be dropped in or near Baghdad.  The goal would be for confusion of the Iraqi military.

Now while I think it would be an exciting thing to see, isnt dropping paratroopers on Iraqs capital a bit dangerous to do?  The only air-mobile armor is that short barreled tank from the 60s.  The C5 and C17 can transport m1s, but I dont think they can be airdropped.

Anyhow, I hope something happens soon.  Commence to fighting or withdrawing.  Getting a bit bored with the Iraq situation.  Plus, if we wait too long, all of our helicopters will have been destroyed in training missions and our troops will have to ride motor-scooters into battle.
