That's good coz the average US citizen uses ignorantly 4X more energy than the european citizen.

That stat is not true Bug.  It's more like 1.5X or 2.0X.
The difference is mostly because of our increased productivity.
If you look at energy consumption per unit of GDP then the US is actually more efficient than the rest of the world.

I hope it raises higher in the US.. oh? you just bought a Lincoln Navigator? or an Escalade? and its costs about a hundred bucks for a fillup? Bwahaahaa!.. that means its time to get rid of it.. as well as that 1972 Chevy Nova and that Olds Delta 88.. I'm so sick of this sense of entitlement that we have to drive gas guzzlers and POS smoking hulks.

Then the average US citizen has some more work to do. I use at least 8x more, and I'm well aware! :D

I just saw on CBS news a gas station that had premium at $4.29.

Regular was well over $3.00.

SOB, nice usage of the 'pigeon hole' mentality.

your reaction is exactly the sense of entitlement I was talking about.. no thought.. no critical thinking..just emotional reaction. Were you raised by a single mother, perhaps?

I see... well, since you expect everyone to drive Geo Metros and similar cars, why don't you come over here and show me how to fit myself, the wife, the 6yr daughter, the 2.5yr old twin boys (and thier car seats) in the damn thing.

Hell we've got a Cavalier now and it's really not big enough =\
