It is a legend. You can make top 20 with 10-15 hours of AH playing time any tour.

Dedicated time is important factor, but not a single.

Not really MrLars... ya gotta play with the system.  It doesn't take 250+ hours a month to do it either.

Take a look at my scores from last tour.  80ish hours.

Sure, I flew a little more than I had wanted to, but I got the job done and thats the price ya pay for playing the contest.

80 hours last tour... That's not alot? That's over 2 hours a day, every day.

Time = points. Points = rank to significant degree.

The lowest number of hours I have ever seen someone get into the top 50 was like 40 hours. Still more than I care to play...

I dropped supply on a damaged AA factory, I got 36.56 perks for it, so it does effect score somehow I would think.

What for?

If you can motivate me someway, for example, by betting something valuable, I can do it next tour.

Time effects 6 values out of 30 total that matters when rank is calculated. So, roughly speaking, time is 1/5th of success in ranking.

"a lot" is a relative term goob.

Lets see... I don't have a job, I don't have a wife/kids, I am a student, and I have a life outside of AH.  Time management my friend.  My lifestyle can fit up to 2 hours of AH each day (maybe more, but at this point I choose not to).

If you don't want to play by the scoring system's rules, then don't participate.

I ranked 17th with a little under 50 hours last tour.

A few tours back (before the competition) I ranked 12th with about 42 hours.

It can be done.

yup, actualy alot of the things requiered to get good rank depends on NOT spending to much time.

Im thinking about kills/time in gv, fighter and attack mode.

You mean more time spend just flying around doing nothing.  We're talking about total time online.

listen:

more time online = more sorties flown = more opportunity to get kills = probably more kills = more points.

k/death, k/time, k/sortie, hit%, etc are NOT EFFECTED.  All you get for flying longer is more points on your total score.

But that total score seems to make a huge difference in rank and I really dont see a good reason why it should.
