if your Kill/time ratio is poor ie u need alot of flying time to get kills, it will affect your fighter rank. Same applies for GV and attack rank.

well i dunno about getting into the top 50, but i did check some "top" contest participants...200+ hours.

That equates to a full time job with overtime. Wow. I'll take my highly volatile but inconsistent

score I guess.

N8 has a low k/d, lower k/t, even lower k/s, and low hit %. All signs point to wuss pilot. Oh, and he has 0 attack sorties.. rank well? not a chance.

Dedicated time is important factor, but not a single.

This is true. I ranked about 5th in January(?.. maybe Feb), and flew about 40 hours.. that's not a whole lot of time online. You don't need to fly all day to rank, you just need to be a dedicated wuss.

Thats my point. Well acually, if your kill/time ratio is really, really poor then chances are so is your hit%, k/d and k/s.....which kinda precludes this whole argument. Anyway, on with my point.

See, if pilot A can fly 20 hours, get a 10:1 k/d ratio, 10 kills a sortie, 25% hit ratio and 10 kills per hour, thats 200 kills.

Pilot B could fly 200 hours, get a 5:1 k/d ratio, 5 kills a sortie, a 12% hit ratio and 5 kills per hour, thats 1000 kills.

Who would say flew better and deserves the higher rank? And if pilot B then why?

Well you Golly-geen moron, if you noticed I said I wasnt very high in rank, and that my best was 75th. As fer wuss pilot, hmmm big dog you are talkin behind a computer, If I had a lower rank than you in this game then it would mean I have less of a life than you. Go ahead and act big and bad and when ur grandkids ask about what you accomplished in your life you can tell them that you had a better rank than N8DOG in this stupid little sim called Aces High. That should really impress them. Hell, you might even want to put that on your resume.
