1 Problem with new patch

The new patch is great it solved many problems but, it created a new one. NO SUCCESSFUL LANDING AT ENEMY BASE.

THE PROBLEM....

I up a Tiger tank from V21 to go capture V28. I roll in take out VH
(aaa) and any ground vehicles. Now normally I would land my tank get an m-3 spawn back for capture. Now your saying with the new patch my Tiger would be a captue so I would loose my perk points to get a base capture.  Even with a Panzer that sucks.

So a single operator can no longer do this with out a capture.

now  heaven forbid you need to get a friend to help, you know, interact with your fellow countrymen, you know,that elusive thing we suposedly play online multiplayer games for...yes cooperation! :D


either that or use a panzerIV.

IMO, "NO SUCCESSFUL LANDING AT ENEMY BASE" is just one of the greatest fixes in the last 10 patches.

I must say, AH prides itself on emulating realism as much as a game can and still remain fun. Successfull landings at enemy bases was obviously complete BS. Fixing this will make K/D ratio's more meaningfull. It will also make being a career vulcher much less lucrative and simplistic. I don't see any negatives about this at all.

The fact that one person will no longer be able to kill and capture bases alone is a good thing, again that is very unrealistic. If you wanna play alone, click OFFLINE instead of ONLINE

As much as I enjoyed being able to land at an enemy base, it was a good move to get rid of it.  That being said, they need to provide someway to "land" a GV in the above situation.  Seems like they could mark an area at the spawn point that someone could return to in order to land a GV sortie.

there needs to be a 'landed safely' section near every airbase.
  Anybody who can get there in one piece, ereguardless of
country, lands safely.  It can be marked with a swiss flag.:D

Then any who land at the swiss flag should be interned for 15 minutes until an exchange can be made

There needs to be some method to land a GV under the majority of situations.  Attacking/defending an airfield really represents the front, so there should be a way to despawn if you can get to a friendly "side" of the battle.

I think each spawn point should be marked to all friendly forces so that at any time, whether you spawned at the point or not, you could drive back to any friendly spawn point and despawn successfully.

It would give defenders on a captured base the opportunity to withdraw (fighting a defensive action to retreat to the despawn point), or, stay and try for the recapture.

The spawn points as they are aren't really all the fair often.  Sometimes they put you on impossible ledges, or massive climbs where you'd just as soon despawn as soon as you take a look around.  Other times, the enemy has a shorter route to the town for a capture than you do for the defense, so you can't really stop it anyway.
