I remember seeing a map like this only with WW2 german markings on it.

We saw pictures like this at school showing the local RAF base and the local city being struck and the effect on us living 15 miles equidistant between the detonations.
Not really news.

I recently found out that my house was less than a mile away from the aimpoint for a megaton class soviet weapon during the cold war.
