absolute newbie mouse probs

Hi
1st time online tonight.When I start the game the mouse cursor just crawls along,makes it unpleasant to use.Any ideas?

Voodoo 5 5500
USB mouse
MS sidewinder FF

A very old video card .... what version DX are you using ??

Footman, try running the game at a lower resolution. 600X800 or even lower. Had the same problem with old vid card. Set desktop and game to same resolution as well. Don't expect decent frame rates.
