The LVT4 would be nice. It has a gun terret on the top and can hold up to 25 grunts

For the youngest here SWOTL was a great sim back in the days of the 486/33mhz (last century

Spooky, in my opinion, nothing on the market in terms of A/C and gameplay has beat SWOTL.

Rip, I agree with you in regards to WW2 stuff and aircraft selection.

BUT... Falcon 3.0 is still the standard I use to rate all sims... period.

Its amazing that companies can be so close to capturing everything you ever wanted in a flight sim, only to forget what it was that the customer actually wanted.

I really like the way AH has modelled a/c flown by nations other than the big 5. The Italian planes, the Finnish 109, and the Brazilian P-47 come to mind.

It'd be nice to see this continue, with perhaps a Free French P-63C KingCobra, or a RAAF or RNZAF Spit MkVIII or Bristol Beaufighter or Mossie.

And I believe the SAAF operated P-40s? A nice late model P-40 in SAAF desert livery would really be nice for the North Africa scenarios.

Just keep in mind that some of the planes that will appear in the future are not necessarily geared toward play in the MA.

NEXX, I would say 0 perks...since it could be programmed to have ONLY a combat range of, say, 25 miles (5 min of fuel?). Think of it as a last desparate defensive weapon to prevent bombers from destroying your HQ.

I still have the disks for SWOTL and the manual, did you ever download the add on planes? My favorite was replacing the 109 with the HE-219 woohoo. That game was a blast and the flight model was pretty damn good as well. What was awesome was you flew plus you controlled the countries resources, production, logistics. Nothing has even come close to beating SWOTL and I doubt anything ever will "stupid quakers".

Tornado from DiD was great too. Looked as accurate as they could model it at the time. You could plan missions of tornados to attack/cover assets versus inbound flights.

My best all time. F4 allows you the strategic targetting too.
