Our squad uses a static server for BC. I seem to be the only one with this problem: when using BC I transmit fine. When receiving, most, not all, comms repeat twice. I'm not talking about a mic echo...there is a half second delay between the same comm.

I'm using SBLive! and have checked Shadowfactor.com for solutions. My drivers are current. Any possible solutions?

Thanks,
DamnedMax

do you have speaker or head phones ? Speakers with a mic can cause feed back or repeating comms even if someone that is connected to you is using them . The problem might not be you , it could be anyone that you are connected to . Try and persuade the others you are connected to not to use voice activation , this causes problems . Also be sure you are using "priority mode" .

<SALUTE> BTW  I have same card , mine works great

Don't think I tried changin to priority mode. Will give that a shot tonight. I'm using headphones with a mic--which may explain why *I* sound fine to the others. I know some of the guys have speakers and are using voice activated mics too as many times i can hear my own transmission in the background of theirs. That might be it.

Thanks for the errrrmmm...."feedback" guys

I have a question for ya paintmaw. Someone else mentioned the mic + speaker (vs headset) issue as a culprit. I use the mic + speakers and am told I sound fine. I'm pretty sure the other guys use the same configuration, and we all use button activation to transmit. I'll try that "priority" tweak you mentioned.

Better get what you can from the Battlecom site while it's up.  After June 1st it's no more and everything will be taken off the web.
