« on: March 17, 2003, 10:53:03 AM »
Ok..Im having this problem too many times..about 4 times in 2 hours.

Everyting is fine and dandy but when I open up the radio chatbox my KB totally locks up. JS and gameplay works fine...but I cant do anything with the KB. Whats the deal.....it's getting very old, very fast.
My puter specs:
Alienware Hivemind 900AMD
384RAM
GeForce2 GTS/Pro

This may be pretty obvious, but make sure you have a cursor in the text bar of the radio box.

That's a neat trick, tell me how you run a PC with memory, CPU and Video card...

When you open the radio control panel for text comms, if then input from the keyboard is directed to it.  Press the key to get rid of the radio control panel and see if everything returns to normal.

how about your KB and mouse what interface does it use?  What kind of KB and mouse?  The reason I ask about your mic, is on crappy motherboard when you use a lot of USB devices the machine can become unstable.

Im not a newb to gaming. If the problem IS VOX, which it just may be,  then it's AH's programming. I used Roger Wilco, Bcomm, and TS extensively the past 2 1/2 years with no problems. I would like to hear from someone that works at AH pls concerning this issue. Not going to pay for a game that doesn't function properly w/ my OS.

Are you sure, you must be a dentist because getting info out of you was like pulling teeth.  If you only want help from AH then pick up the phone and call them.  The boards were meant for the community to help each other out.  Sorry you feel that way but oh well, don't know what you are missing

Yea...I'll miss your cracks on how my low end puter can't matchup. My puter may not have the most up to date hardware but it's still one of THE best gaming puters built. Do your research before you take jabs.

you haven't posted toejam dude, I offer help and ask for spec's and you reply with one liners like.  sblive or "os is ME"

I'm familiar with Alienware boxes but I have no idea what motherboard is in their box or, what type of memory it is using, I don't know what KB you use.  Where did I imply you have a low end box?????  I asked for spec's?  Geez
