thats a Macchi 200 or 202, no mistaking that hunchback look, not Mussolini government markings so must be Italian Co-Belligerent air force.

SirLoin, yup it is a Gloster F.5/34 as Gulbert says.


The Macchi C200 did not have a prop spinner nor have the exhaust hanging down like in the picture. The fairings for the cylinders on the Macchi were much longer - 1/2 the cowl in length.


The Macchi C202 used a inverted V-12 engine (DB601) not a radial.

I should have been more descriptive and included "large".
