Problem on Win2K Server

Running latest version still produces same result: a white screen that shows the springs of the clipboard and nothing else.  I can't see the mouse pointer, but if I click randomly and happen to hit something on the clipboard that does something it does it but the screen remains white and nothing can be discerned.

I've tried changing the settings in the video config file, but nothing helps the problem.  The box is fast and only a year old and I'm running Win2k Server on it.  It's connected to the Internet via the same LAN DSL connection that my Win98 computer runs  on, which runs AH perfectly.

The video config file contains the following line:
"Primary Display Driver \ Microsoft Direct3D Hardware Acceleration through Direct3D HAL"

I have checked the hints post and checked everthing listed including the DirectX version on the DXDiag applet, and I have tried disabling the hardware acceleration using it as well. No Luck.

Can anyone help?

Those look like old drivers for that video card..

I'm not using w2k, but under XP I use 41.09's with no problems

I experienced the same thing with my WIN2K (I had dual-boot) and was never able to solve the problem. I run the GeForce TNT PRO 2 (or something like that) and always had the lastest drivers installed and all fixpacks applied. My other bootable system is XP and have NEVER had a problem with XP.

I no that I am not offering any help here, I just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one to have this problem.

I'd install the latest nvidia drivers then go to sp3, but that's me...

Thanks guys.  This system is also a dual boot with XP.  I don't run the XP because I need the server running.  I'll try updating the video driver or maybe take XP off, or both.
