e-mail scam

received 2 different e-mails last couple days saying they were from ebay and earthlink billing dept.

We regret to inform you, but due to a recent system flush, the billing/personal information
for your account is temporaly unavailable, and we need to verify your identity.

they are both confirmed bogus by ebay and earthlink, if you get one deleat and/or report it. i sent copies ( inc headers) to both ebay and earthlink.

Don't touch 'em, as you know.

I have been getting those for weeks. I send them all to Spam@ebay.com.

E-bay said we get alot of there from users who have their e-mail address as their username.
