Yahoo Personals: Bad. Mostly disguised ads for adult sites. See one you think you like. Get a response, and its "Click here to goto my webcam site" etc. Don't get me wrong, there are some real people in there, and Ive met some nice ones there. But I've never encountered as much fraud as I have with Yahoo. They are unresponsive at reporting bogus ads.
Match.Com is very well run. I've had some really good responses and even found some old school friends lurking around in there. If i were to subscribe to one service again, it would be this one.
Kiss.Com is also pretty good but doesn't have many from my area.
HotOrNot is interesting. At $6, its fun. My first day there I had a few emails already. It requires a photo.
And again, the real important thing is what you are looking for. If you post a photo, you get more replies. What's funny is how many girls post pics that look awesome....but that was PRIOR to the "pregnant with triplets" or that "horrible head on with a steam roller" etc. If a lady doesnt have a photo and begins to describe herself, as you mental draw her, make sure to add 100 pounds when they say "great personality"....
