P-38 turn radius

"Especially the P-38 which could out-turn anything the Luftwaffe had and could give the Spitfire pilot pause to consider his own mortality."

Hmmm...anyone to care to comment?  I had the impression that the 38 couldn't turn inside a 109 or a 190.

The P-38 could out-turn just about anything the LW had. In AH it will out-turn all but 109F4 and G2 depending on fuel loads...at least in my experience.

I can turn inside a 109 with a p38.  Problem is I am then flying backwards and my plane is spinning rather than the propellors.
