Ok..
Any of yyou who fly, or have ridden a roller coaster, know you do not have to look for a little guage in the cockpit to know you are pulling g's. I'd imagine more experienced pilots, especially aerobatic, or fighter pilots can tell the difference between 2, 4 and 6 g.... And.. I'd bet they could tell the difference with their eyes closed.. and while just blacking out...
I'd like to see some other feedback to indicate to the virtual pilots how many g he is pulling...
The cockpit guage is all well and good if you are not in combat.. I'd like to see something displayed onscreen whether you are blacked out or not, no matter which direction you are looking, showing at least an approximate idea of how many g's you are pulling.
Perhaps an indicator line running up the side of the screen and a pointer... or a small coloured circle in a lower corner (or draggable by user) of the screen which changes colour based on how many g you are currently pulling.. and these would be displayed no matter which view, or state you are in.
We can't get much feedback from a 2d screen and a set of speakers, this just might increase the level a little bit.
