Actually, my disrespect is directed at the Media for the overuse of this term.

This should not shock you, or make you say "Awwwwww". It's just the media, after all.

I find it anoying as well.

What's even worse, however, is how often they talk about how amazing the speed of their own coverage is.  It's always the first thing they talk about.

Up next, an interview with Sadam Husein:

Reporter: "Sadam, as the first Western journalist to interview you in years, I'd like to make my first question: Aren't you you just amazed at the speed of our reporting due to our advanced technology?  Afterall, your on live television, broadcast internationaly via my my Nokia phone cam.  Isn't that just amazing?"
