why switch countries?

Wow lazs.. you forget I was near 53 too.  I know just how much you are embelishing.

Yep.. you just keep getting better and better dude.

Our whole squad of.. 4.  yep.  wow.  And its pretty hard not to have an alt advantage when one side won't leave their base.  Strange, I don't remember only engaging 4 enemy planes near 53?  Hmmmm.

Once again... you need things to be made easy for you.  You need things to be made handy for you.  You need others to do the work, so you can have fun.  Last night was THE prime example.

deja...4?  How many BK's do you think were at that field?  Our four were all well below and had to climb to your four.   Still... I am glad that I take up so much of your thoughts and time.   I suppose I should be flattered even tho you do such a poor job of reading me.  Perhaps if you spent a couple extra hours a day?   Maybe i could just email you with my agenda?

And... actually, the suggestion to change sides did not come from me anyway.  My contribution was "yeah ok, what country?"  do you even know who you are claiming that you have no respect for?

We actually had no idea how we could decide on which country to choose until someone remembered that we had a CO.   So we made him make one of the first decisions he has ever made for the squad.   Otherwise we would all still be stuck at "I don't care, this sucks, I'll take anyone with fuel and dar."

I seem to remember far more than 4 people down there. Might have been only 4 BKs, but there were a lot of Rooks down there with you. There were only 4 bishops in the area, 4 AKs.

Lazs & anyone else...

If you wanna switch, fine, so be it.  If you feel its in the best interest of your $30 a month, all the power to you.  But if you are going to be on the other side of my guns, how'd about shutting up and not whinning on the BBS?  You switched sides, big deal...y'all have fun now, ya hear?

I'm a Knight and sure, we got pasted last night...but it was fast and furious and required some ingenious efforts to try to get out of the hole.  If that isnt your idea of fun, I understand.  But some of us saw it as a huge challenge to try to hold both Bish and Rook off and managed to hold on longer than I thought we would!  And ya know what?  Im not whining

You must be a real joy to play "Chutes and Ladders" with!

2 cents...cya folks on-line later!

As I always say among all only Knight has the most weird move - nothing like the predictable rocks and bish

I'm with SOB- you pay to have fun, do it how you will within the rules of the game. I have said before and say again, if your country is down to a few fields and all are being vultched by parties who refuse to drop hangars (ends the respawning targets dontcha know?) you have only a few options: re-up so the endless train of vultchers can take turns slapping you down; wait in the tower and hope the other two sides really want a reset and aren't interested in just holding a weak team to nothing, or; switch to side that gives you a chance to play. It is entirely wrong IMNSHO that anyone should be forced to sit in the tower or be vultch bait.

Understand I refer specifically to the extreme times when teams seem reluctant to effect a reset, only maintaining life support status for easy targets. This is the one form of gameplay I truly detest.

What I find funny is hearing over hte all channel chat is should we kill that last FH or not?  Funny but they always seem to kill the VH first and let the FH live.  TO me this isn't gaming but a viral way of showing lack of skills.  I remember all teh pilots who shot me down, but I remember the ones that show me down more then once.  Funniest thing is being shot down by a guy oin the deck with bombs under his wings.  Or using a bomb to kill me.  I have vulched before only because our goon or m3 was inbound.  I do not camp over a runway for easy kills, nor do I care if someone wants to switch countries, granted we got raped last night but I still ended up with quite a few kills.  I think it is fun to watch them try and get you and the aa comes back to life    The one time I thank the 1 hit wonder AA

The way the strat system works in this game it is terribly easy to neutralize the defense in an area, whether this means killing a couple FHs, blinding the enemy by taking out radar or whatever.  This game would really be a lot better if it was both much easier to capture enemy fields and much harder to neutralize them.  If this system of easy neutralization of defenses is so wonderful, why don't we just hope that HTC takes it a step further?  Perhaps there can be a main FH somewhere on the map and once a bomb hits it, that country can't fly any more fighter sorties for the entire tour.  That would certainly make strat a vital element in the game.

Yesterday we switched countries because we disliked the choice of taking off into a massive vulchfest or flying around for 45 minutes without seeing any enemies.  Who was winning and losing had absolutely nothing to do with it.  It is just as boring to circle empty enemy fields all night while you wait for the C47s to arrive, so "winning" has little attraction to me.  We just switched to Rooks in the hope that we could find a spot on the map with a good number of both red and green dots showing on radar.  Last night it worked, so we will probably do it more often.

I have to say the MAW has talked about switching , but , can't leave the knights out to hang , wish others enjoyed more even odds ,but then again , that might not be fun for some .

Sturm the VH is killed first so that you're not knee deep in Osties as soon as the last FH goes down ..

hooligan.. I think we should go bishop (the little red dildo looking ones) tonite since they had like 2/1 numbers on everyone and we would have even more choice.

Winning?  who gives a toejam about winning other than killing the other guy?  And.. gotta ask... what is "chutes and ladders"?
