Why don't you take care of yourself?  Nothing worse than a whiner from a freaking welfare country.

Crap I hate it when I'm wrong.  It looks like all of the cruise missile platforms (TLAM, ALCM, ACM) are all now upgraded to use GPS.  Which means they have something like 5 m CEP (circular error).  They are an order of magnitude more accurate than the cruise missiles used in 1991.

JDAM (gps guided bomb) has as low as 3 m CEP.

For moving targets the USAF and USN have a new toy called the JSOW, which also has about 3 m CEP.

Air power can now be used with much more precision than 1991.

thank yer government for 1938.. they folded. 1.5 million men under arms, behind fortifications that were superior to anything else in europe.. and they folded without a shot. Cowards. We bear no onus for your goverments treachery to it's people.

ten years later, in 1948, LOCAL communists seized control of your government, and signed THEMSELVES over to Russia. again, thank yerselves for being in the soviet sphere.

20 years after that, you revolted.. and thanks to the UN, you got no help. unable to dig YOURSELVES out of this situation, the russians invaded.

your people bear more responsiblity for what became of your nation than any outside government.

deal with it.

The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

30mm - mounted on an A10 in this case.

Depleted Uranium rounds capable of breaching light tanks and APCs.  Depending on armor configuration, some MBT's too.

Dont want to be on the recieving end of one of these.

Hang,

History can be so inconveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenient, can't it?

Didn't Chamberlain, a British Prime Minister "give" Czechoslovakia to Hitler?  And wasn't the USA deep into it's isolationism mode at the time, claiming that Europe's problems are for the Europeans?

So that means I need to ask this question.  Why is that America's fault?

Man, now we're getting blamed for things we didn't do.

It's that History thing, Hans.

Orel probably isn't aware of the US Neutrality Acts, although he must be aware that the League of Nations couldn't manage a resolution authorizing the use of force against Hitler. He probably also knows the US wasn't in the League.

Just history.

Tomahawks are neat weapons.

However, they don't go after vehicles, at least ones that are moving.  They have no tracking radar systems.  They only go to the coordinates you tell them to go to, and they fly at sub-sonic speeds using a small jet engine.  It can be a few hours from launch to detonation.  If this was a tank, it could move while the Tomahawk was enroute.

Whether there is anything to hit at the coordinates has to be determined ahead of time.  Well defended things that can't move are their primary targets.  Bridges, power stations, railroad yards, and the occasional old, chemical weapons plant with a brand new "baby milk factory" sign out front.

Besides, make the little rugrats breast feed instead.  Baby milk factory indeed.

Nope.

Since Bagdad still has power and running water I can tell that the USA is deliberatly not trying to ruin the average Iraqui's day to day living, only thier leadership.  The reports I've seen today seemed to be mostly concentrated on government buildings and Presidental palaces.
